Subject: file attachment in mail on Mac OS X
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Mac OS X
Release: Beta 2
Reproducible: Always

I tried to send 3 files attached to an email. The files were 3 jpg images totaling 4,5 Mb.
The files were converted automatically to BinHex at the time of sending the email.
Looking at the files with a text editor, I found this at the top:
(This file must be converted with BinHex 4.0)

There is something not working wright here because the file is not usable anymore, keeps the original jpg extension and thus image viewers cannot understand it.

Conversion happens only after sending the memo. Saving into drafts does not encode it. Encoding happens at the time of sending.
